They fit your criteria perfectly. You've seen my pics and most of them were on a simple little $200 model. It was a no frills camera that just had a good lens (as all Olympus cameras do) and held a lot of photos. It had a flash and some nifty features, but no 10X zoom or anything. For $350 or so you can get one that's even better and get some frills.
A Sony would be ideal but they are more expensive, but an Olympus fits perfectly into what you're looking for :) I don't know the latest model in that range, but check out [ www.cnet.com ] and click on Prices for the cheapest places to get them online.
